To mark Europe Day and as part of its bid to become European Capital of Culture 2028, the City of Montpellier and Montpellier Méditerranée Métropole are celebrating their attachment to the European Union and the values that underpin it: the rule of law, democracy, equality, human rights, freedom and human dignity.

The City and Metropolis of Montpellier are firmly committed to the objectives set by the European Union to tackle the major challenges of our time, such as climate change and democracy. They also strongly defend the principle of a Europe united in its diversity. Art and culture are powerful vectors for preserving these ties. Street art and music will be in the spotlight for this celebration!

Meet at 6pm at the “Léon Blum” streetcar stop to board the streetcar in the colors of Europe.
